Who are you?

Nobody is saying they're dead. Just that they perform in a room in another business now.

I've heard it has a devoted space in the Westport Flea Market. Renting isn't as permanent as owning, and maybe I'm just splitting hairs, but I wouldn't say they're dead yet.

Comedy City no longer has its own space - it closed its main location sometime in the past two months.

Yay! Finally, someone else who can tie the field of physics with improv. Back when Too Much Duck was forming and searching for names and then later when we were searching for a name for Tantrum, I offered up the name String Theory. Both times, "that's too geeky" or "that's too thinky" (or some variant thereof) came back. Kudos John!

This is powerful stuff. I call it "Chicken Wire Theory" because string theory seems a bit generic.

At one point, you mentioned visualizing the chicken wire in three dimensions. I had never taken it that far--I just wrapped the two-dimensional wire around the universe and visualized the 2-D path. I just tried visualizing it in 3-D, and I can tell that instead of imagining it in my head, it will become much easier to actually see it happen in 3-D, imposing it upon reality.

I already use my own version of Chicken Wire theory, and as my speed increases, I'll adopt more visualization into it.

I like it. No longer do I find myself devoid of suggestions, or worried that my suggestion is too obvious. This technique is ready for the big leagues!

I respectfully disagree with you here John. Think Highlander here - there can be only one. If your (and by your, I don't mean you personally, I mean any performer) goal isn't to entertain the audience, why are you performing? I will now go back to agreeing with you. There are an infinite amount of ways to go about achieving that goal.

People do sometimes come back. I've been with ComedySportz for 14 years and in that time a handful of people have come back, not counting people who came back because they were doing another show and always intended to come back, there've been plenty of those.

Normally something has to happen to remind them they want to come back.

Every time I read one of your blogs my entrepreneurial spirit tingles... Someday I want to start a video production business, so you are a role model in more ways than one.

Besides the riches that I hope you earn, you are providing an awesome experience to audience and improv troupe members alike. Thanks for doing this!

See you at practice tomorrow!

As long as you don't take the starring/writing/directing package to the level of supreme jerk Eddie Murphy. Please, no fat suits. :)
